Construction Union calss is worth it
When I was waiting to be admitted to be accepted into the University of New Mexico law school I had a dream. I had just graduated and was defending my first client, Mr. Dawg. He had bitten off the ear of Mr. Katz.
The prosecutor asked the eyewitness “Did you see Mr Dawg bite off the ear of Mr. Katz?” She said: “No. I did not.”
The prosecutor was stunned and since this was the only witness at that point I should have simply asked the judge to dismiss all charges.
Instead I tore into the witness. “You should be ashamed to appear to testify in court when you did not see anything. How do you dare waste this court’s time?
In a soft timid voice the witness answered. “I’m sorry; I did not see your client, Mr Dawg bite off Mr. Katz ear, but I did see him spit it out. You could have heard a pin drop.
When I woke from my dream I was happy that my scumbag client was convicted. I knew I did not want to be a lawyer.
Doyle Brunson wrote a poker book with the intention of winning millions playing no limit against the tourist that read his book. Reading Bill Gates should be considered the same way. He should not be used as a source for teaching values.
If not trying means giving up after trying; that is not good.
If not trying means not having tried in the first place. That is tragic.
It is tragic for not experiencing success and almost as tragic for not experiencing failure. And that is only half of the tragedy.
I am in my fifth week of being prepped to be a union apprentice. They are not getting the people they want. If I do not get a job – sorry I am trained to say – “life long career” that is on me. I do not experience the accomplishment of multitasking, as my time is very structured. Also I was walking and running 5 miles per hour, 5 hours a day. I limit my running so that I do not experience joint inflammation and pain. Now I do 2 or 3 hours at 4 miles per hour, with less opportunity to include multiple locations in one trip.
What I got out of class ystrdy is to celebrate my successes. I was a little caught up in using mistakes. In focusing on being a good loser at chess I forgot to enjoy winning.
I need a rent voucher. I need to make this a priority. I need to get to social services early tomorrow. I must get up when my alarm goes off. I need a rent voucher. I need to make this a priority. occurs twice and should occur once. An unauthorized $20 was taken from my account.
U. S. Bank finally admitted they took $1.50 from my account when I attempted a transaction at an ATM. This gave me a negative balance of fifty cents. They proceeded to take large amounts of money from my account including seven dollars every day. Please deduct a proportional amount from U. S. Bank till they return my money. I will accept (14 times twenty dollars) $280 into my account for each and every day they delay, if they at the same time take ownership of all liabilities that accrue to the IRS.
